Dr. Paul McGowan
Dr. Paul McGowan graduated from the University of Illinois in 1986. He was an original Village Vet staff member when the clinic opened in 1996. In addition to general medicine, he shares surgery duties with Dr. Primm and does the orthopedic work. He shares life with his wife and two poorly trained dogs.

Dr. Nicholas Primm
Dr. Nicholas Primm graduated from the University of Illinois with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1986 and a Master's degree in 1989. He spent ten years on the east coast before joining The Village Vet in 1999. In addition to general medicine, he shares the surgery schedule with Dr. McGowan. He lives on a small farm along with a couple of dogs, a cat, and an assortment of fowl.

Dr. Andrea Rediger
Dr. Andrea Rediger, a central Indiana native, holds a degree in Accounting/Systems from Taylor University and a DVM degree from Purdue University. She completed a small animal rotating internship at Michigan Veterinary Specialists prior to joining The Village Vet staff in 2004. Dr. Rediger lives nearby with her husband, two young children, a cat and a new Boston Terrier.

Kristy Frakes
Kristy Frakes has been working in the veterinary field since she was 18. She joined The Village Vet full-time in 1999. She serves as a full-time technician. Kristy shares her home with her husband and couple of kids. The family pet is a second hand Beagle.

Carrie Kennedy
Carrie Kennedy joined The Village Vet in 2000. She works part-time as a receptionist. In addition, she assists technicians and veterinarians. She is a retired teacher of students with special needs. She shares her home with a Weimaraner, and a couple of labs.

Victoria Mitchell
Victoria joined The Village Veterinarian in the fall of 2019. She works full time as a receptionist/assistant. Victoria held various positions in the service industry for over 15 years before joining The Village Veterinarian. She shares a home with her husband, two kids, and two cats

Tomi Patrick
Tomi has worked in the veterinary field since 1992 when she started as a kennel kid in high school. She completed an Animal Science degree at Southern Illinois University and came back to The Village veterinarian in 1998.
She completed a degree from Cedar Valley College in Texas and passed the national exam to become a certified veterinary technician in 2010.

She and her husband share their home with a couple of Corgis and a cat. She trains and competes with her dogs in obedience, agility, and tracking.

Hillary Sims
Hillary joined The Village Vet in the summer of 2016. She started with farm cats and horses as a kid. As she got older, horses became an ever bigger part of her life and she became a barrel racer and pole bender. After high school, she went to Harper College in Chicago to complete a Veterinary Assistant program and has been in the veterinary field ever since.
She keeps a cat and a dog, couple of horses, and now, two new goats.

Tricia Watson
Tricia Watson, CVT, has been working in veterinary practices since she was 19. She is an original Village Vet staff member, even helping to install cabinets and fixtures when The Village Veterinarian opened in 1996. In addition to her technical duties, she oversees our inventory. She graduated from Cedar Valley College, Lancaster TX, with a degree in Veterinary Technology in 2011.
Her current pet is an orange cat perpetually on a diet.

Tina Zimmerman
Tina Zimmerman graduated with a degree in Agricultural Information from Southern Illinois University in 1995. She is an original Village Vet staff member since 1996. She handles much of the bookkeeping and administrative duties. She was a farm kid and is raising her kids, and a flock of chickens, on the family farm.
